I was not able to see any of the discounted receivers when I followed your link - even after I subscribed as a member. Can anyone verify the HT-RC230 is still on sale? I am looking for an inexpensive receiver for my sun room.

thx.

Honestly even with $10 and 25% off - the prices are not far off from ac4l.com, but it help shave about $30-40 on some products ...

They also offer inexpensive extended 2 year warranty program...
Thanks for the find. You're dead on on the pricing. I compared a TX-NR-709 at both places and A4L was about the same price by the time you add shipping. I didn't buy it though since I bought one of those Denon AVR-1712s to replace the 606 in my home-office yesterday. ;)

Onkyo probably ran out of the RC-230. Deals don't last long once they've been published on Slick Deals or Fatwallet. Luckily for you A4L has it for the same price.

Thanks! I might get the 330 if I am already going to spend about that much money, then. Well, I am assuming the 330 is better than the 230, which might not be the case...

I could be wrong (I haven't looked) but if memory serves I think it's a model year difference.

their inventory is pretty much cleared out.. but this pointed me towards accessories4less.. makes me question my decision for the onkyo ht-s5400.

the plan was to get the ht-s5400 from amazon with a 3 year squaretrade warranty. but at accessories4less I can get a used ht-s6300 w/ a WARRANTECH 5 year warranty for ~the same price. the 6300 has some more features and a higher watt sub, but warrantech has a crappy BBB rating.

which would be a better deal for $400 or less? Maybe I should go with something else all together? so confused
