Sharp XVZ 2000?

How is this projector, i just looked at it in a store and it looks pretty amazing, especially on the hdtv signal, just wondering how good is it compared to other DLPs on the market in this price range, I know a place where i can get this for 2400 online, in the store they selling it at 4000. So can someone help me out here, remember its the 2000 not the 200.

Will be using it for mainly movies and video games, then TV

and for $2400 new or new "B" stock you had better buy a truckload that is way below dealer cost.

Nice pj. I have seen them for around 3K.
But if you are not in a hurry, I would wait a month or two.
Many new pj's have recently been announced and prices will be dropping soon.
720p single chip pj's like the sharp will soon easily be had for 3K.
just my opinion.

yah i can wait a while, construction won't be done till about Feb now, so i have plenty of time

What new 1280x720 HD2+ has been announced for $2,400?
The Mitsu 3000 is now shipping at $2999 That is the least expensive I know of. CES will have announcements but product wont ship until 1st or 2nd quarter of next year if that soon. Infocus has plans but spring or summer at the soonest. That XV-Z2000U is a steal at $2400

New LCDs

I have read good things about the new LCD projectors from Panasonic (AE900U) and Sany (PLV-Z4) with are both priced around $2k from authorized dealers.
