Hello, I was wondering if anyone has bought Sharp AQUOS LC-C5277UN and has any thoughts about this model? Or have any other suggestions for comparable models.
Thank you.

I am quite happy with my Aquos and my dad loves his too. If it is the right price, go for it. There are one or two features that these models don't seem to have, but I like many of the features that it does have such as retaining all settings per input automatically. When I switch between TV and Blu-ray, the settings are automatically adjusted. My old set had multiple settings, so I could have different calibrations for different purposes, but I had to manually select them. With this one, calibrate on that input, and it stays.

I can't comment on that specific model. But I bought one of the first 1080p sharp aquos's a few years back and it has been great. Beautiful picture quality, no problem's.

Technology has moved ahead since I bought mine. Not sure whats out there now. If you have a good deal on the Aquos though, go for it.

I just purchased the Aquos LC-52E77UN and a samsung Blueray player. The first Blueray I watched on it was Disney's Earth and I was absolutely amazed at the picture quality. I have since watched a couple of action movies as well and noticed that in fast paced scenes it is flawless. I absolutely love this set. I currently have the Blueray passing through my Yamaha Rxv-765.

I prefer lcd over plasma. I have experienced good results in LCD rather compare to Plasma, for me it would always be LCD.

I agree, I always prefer LCD to plasma. I don't sit in a dark room very often, and so the LCDs always look better. I have no problems with any motion blur. My 3 year old Sharp still looks great, and even though I bought it just before the prices dropped tremendously, I'm still very happy with it.

I will be buying a new TV for my family room, probably a 40", and Sharp will probably be the one I pick. I've had nothing but great luck with Sharp TVs going back to the one my mom had in her bedroom 40 years ago.
