I'm considering a Sharp 26" LCD Hi Def unit for my bedroom - (my wife is constantly nagging to come to bed and quit watching my hi def programming downstairs), but I'm new to Sharp and their model nomenclature. I was just on their website, and the plethora of different models is somewhat overwhelming and confusing.
There are the LC 26D7U, LC26D6U, D5U, D4U, etc... models...
There are the LC 26DA5U, 26DA4U models....
There are the LC 26GA5U and G5C26U models....
All of these unit appear rather similar at first blush, and the Sharp marketing material doesn't help matters much, as they seem to utilize the same "buzzwords" to describe each set.
I'm hoping that the Sharp owners or experts can give me a quick primer on these sets. New vs old, improved vs original, etc... It would be most appreciated. This site was invaluable when I was shopping for my 50" Plasma, and I'm hoping it will be the same this time, as well.
