Looks like your avr has a sub pre-out, use a splitter to get signal to both your sub and your shaker. Sub pre-out is a low level signal....

i was wondering that but i also use my subs high in/out posts to run my front towers will i have to switch em to run directly from the receiver instead if i use a splitter on the purple sub plug?

Why do you use high level connections when you have a sub pre-out would be my basic question. Is this just a 2.1 setup?

this is what im work'n with i got the purple sub plug on the receiver but not one on the sub so i just been run'n left/right front thro the high post on the sub and use the receiver for center and surround speakers but have always wondered if i should run a split from that purple plug on my receiver to the low level red/white in plugs on my subwoofer. with the shaker i thought i would plug it into the red/white low level out but thought i should get some advise first

Go from the sub output on the AVR to the low-level input on the subwoofer. Then go from sub low-level output (or pass through) to the shaker.

No, because you can't employ bass management properly with high level connections. Use a splitter, or as suggested using the low level output (same channel) from the sub to shaker, depending what cable runs make most sense. The color of the connector isn't helpful, tho....hard to see in the pic but the sub pre-out is purple? You need not use both L/R inputs on the sub as the sub pre-out is mono anyways, pick one and turn the sub's low pass filter (marked "freq") to it's maximum setting.

Maybe in general this will help https://www.audioholics.com/subwoofer-setup/basic-subwoofer-setup

You can split the sub signal and send one to the sub and one to the shaker. The problem is, you can’t set different XO points and slopes unless you have a minidsp. Too high of an XO on a shaker can be seriously annoying, and just not natural feeling. One of the reasons I’ve always found them to be cheesy.
