Hi again guys....

:)

Just an update, since I finally reached a decisionabout the speakers:

How does this setup look:
Parasound P3 (http://www.parasound.com/halonew/P3front.php)
Parasound A23 (http://www.parasound.com/halonew/A23front.php)
Swans 6.2F (http://www.swanspeaker.com/product/htm/view.asp?id=249)

This would be 2ch only. No sub. 50% HT, 50% Music.
Speakers will be placed at 1 ft. from the front wall. Right speaker will be 3 ft. from the side wall. Left speaker has no side wall beside it....

Any comments?

:)

Thank you.

PS: Should I be concerned about the 6.2F of NOT being bi-wireable?

Comments? You're damn lucky! :D

Sounds like a very nice 2 channel setup. Enjoy! -TD

ps
I wouldn't worry about the bi-wiring, there's been very little proven benefit to it..

If you aren't biamping, there is no benefit. Haven't heard the Swans, but sounds like a nice setup.

:D thank you guys.

I was not sure about the Swans either and never had the pleasure of listening to them, but I'll take my chances. I have 30 days in any case. I was unsure between Axiom, Swans, Rockets, or the more expensive Gallos Ref 3.1, Thiels 1.6, Focal.

At this point though since I am no audiophile but audio enthuisast, I willgo for the internet-direct companies and save some money.
Room is not treated, setup is not ideal at all, and my Pioneer Elite 1130HD plasma is feeling lonley.

:D good decision?
