Saint' HT System

So it's begun!

The fit seems to be "perfect" in that with the mains, A/V rack (home made flexi-rack) and subwoofer it takes up most of the wall.

I'm also replacing all my speaker cable with Axiom 12 gauge and using banana plugs for everything (because I hate using bare wire in my receiver's binding posts.)

Looks good. Have you tried you sub in a corner? I had my sub in the same location as you, and then I tried it in the corner. Seemed to fill the room more and blend with the mains better. In 2-channel listening, you would swear the sub-bass was coming from the mains.

I'm in an apartment...granted the walls/floor/ceilings are concrete and likely do not pass sound easily (e.g. I haven't heard my neighbours ONCE since moving in) but I've read that a sub in the corner increases likelihood of transmitting vibration to neighbour.

Is there any reason I should shift the stuff around? I seem to have just enough room on that wall for the t.v., speakers and rack. Should I move both speakers closer to the TV?

How do I do this properly?

I dont think you need to bring your spks close, infact it would be a good idea to move them apart some more and then tow-in towards the audience and Ideally the tweeter should be at audience seated ear levels. SUB can be moved to a corner and the center towed down towards the audience, that should be it......BTW I was wondering how have you placed your surrounds ???, those are the most trickier ones.

Ah! keep equal distance of your left & right speaker from the TV, your right spk seems a bit more due to the rack.
