Setting Up Whole House System in a Pre-Wired Home

As a caveat, I'm very inexperienced when it comes to audio. I want to help my mom take advantage of the pre-wired (and labeled) ceiling speakers throughout a house that she just purchased.

Here's what I know:
1) There are 4 rooms that are wired, with two speakers per room (Left & Right)
2) The 4 rooms are Living Room, Office, Dining, Patio
3) There seems to be volume dials in the rooms with speakers

Here's what she wants the system to be capable of:
1) Play the same audio source throughout the house (for music during parties)
2) Be able to turn off rooms when it's just her watching TV in the living room
3) Zones aren't really necessary, the simpler the system the better

This is the A/V Receiver that she purchased before she even knew the house was wired:
Denon AVR-S510BT 5.2 Channel Full 4K Ultra HD AV Receiver with Bluetooth

Here's what I was looking at for an amp:
Rossound D850

Here's the speaker switcher
Pyle Pro PSPVC4 4-Channel High Power Speaker Selector

I'm hoping someone here can confirm or suggest cheaper options. She's no audiophile and really just wants something that will work. Am I missing anything? Is that amp powerful enough?

Thanks for all of your help.
