I have some leftover Logitech 5.1 computers speakers that I would like to use on my second tv. Is there any way to hook them up so all the channels work? The connections are 3.5mm so i don't know what to do. Logitech has an adapter to go from 2ch RCA to 5ch 3.5mm. But wouldn't it only divide the left\right signals and send to the front and surround speakers. Is there somesort of external TV sound card, our STB has a digital out and a USB port could I use those in any way?

That will work, but you will have 5 channel stereo. For the most part, those speakers are meant for near field placement anyway, so the surround experience would probly be lacking. Use the adapter and they will work, but not surround sound. Plus, you need a decoder unless these are 680's or 5500's, which I doubt they would be "left over" :)
