i'm in the market for a new stereo setup, speakers, receiver and everything else except the turntable.
this stereo setup will be used primarily for listening to music from my computer and vinyl records.
the setup is going to go into my bedroom which is average sized though i don't have specific dimensions. it should be noted that i move a lot and in the last five years i've only resided in one place for more than 9 months. so with that in mind, i'm not trying to get something perfect for this room, but something quality for listening to music. i finally have the money to upgrade from these hand me down Bose 201 Series II's with a Modular Component Systems 3260 Digital Synthesize Stereo Receiver MCS Series.
i'm trying to stay under $1000 but if need be i can spend more than that.
