Hello!
I have a Sony Grand Wega 50" LCD projection TV and I don't get any blooming or line distortion on any of the Digital Video Essentials tests even if I push my contrast through the roof... Also, with contrast at maximum, I still perfectly see the distinction between 95%, 100% and a little over 100% white boxes in those test patterns. The over than 100% does get a little greenish though, but lowering the contrast just a little corrects that.
I'd guess the contrast should be left just under the point where the over 100% gets greenish, but the problem is that I almost lost eyesight doing those tests, hehe! The luminosity is extreme.
With none of these tests working for me, I just don't know how to set my contrast properly... Can anyone help me out?
