Brand new to HT...I need some help with speaker recommendations (front pair, rear pair, center). I have a pair of DIYs that I love, but just don't think they are efficient enough, and don't want the headache of matching and building other sets.
My budget for all 5 speakers (sub I will deal with separately) is around $2500. I'd like speakers with excellent transient response, and a flat or 'true' frequency response. Efficiency above 90 db or so.
Really intrigued with using passive studio monitors (Tannoy?), so any additional thoughts on that greatly appreciated. I'll be running speakers with Behringer EP4000 and EP2000 amps.
