I just replaced my 16' Monster sub cable with a Tributaries 40' and now my auto does not work. I have to manually turn the sub on and off. Any suggestions/ideas? Thanks.

Sounds like there is a signal drop over that 40' cable. Either boost the signal at the amp(not the best fix) or use a shorter run or use a thicker gauge wire.

cheers:)

MACCA350: Thanks for the reply. I figured out the problem after screwing around for a while. I feel like such a putz. I connected the sub cable to one of my multi zone sub connections. Oops! Thanks anyway.
