I have a Panasonic 32 inch CRT HDTV, CT-32HL42C (Canada). I entered the Serviceman menu and wrote down the factory settings for all the parameters for 480i input signal. But I didn't realize that the settings are different for 480p and 1080i. So I went in and started to adjust the settings for 1080i not knowing that the settings are different. STUPID!!! I need from somebody the factory default settings for 1080i and 480p. I think I didn't touch the geometry settings (HDEF), mostly the VIDEO, namely BRIGH and CONT. My 1080i picture looks very, very dark (no detail in darks) and the brights very bright. But the good news is that I fixed my 480i signal geometry. Can someone help me? Panasonic Canada told me to take it to a service centre, which I called and they told me "forget it." Help!
