Okay, I'll give Restoration Hardware props for the looks of this thing. However, those of us old enough to have LP's don't want to convert them to MP3's. Those that do want to convert them to FLACs or DSD's, etc. Moreover, we're likely to demand a top quality needle, a stable arm, etc, top quality ADC's, and other audiophilic things.

That said, it is a cute looking piece of hardware that reminds me of the old film style Leica cameras.

Junk. For $100-$150, you can get a near mint, high quality table from the 80's. Add a quality cartridge for $90(AT 440MLa) bucks and you are set. Use a decent $60-$70 low noise phono pre-amp to feed to your sound card's analog input.

You're assuming that the people who want to convert to MP3s give a crap about sound quality. More people care about convenience than quality.
