I am curious to know if it is just my XM signal that is weaker than all of my other audio sources(cd,dvd,cable) or is this with everyone. I recently had my audiovox XM receiver on a home dock and put an EQ between that and my yamaha 5550 because the tone controls were not enough. Now I have upgraded to the yamaha rxv 1700(SWEET!)I hooked my XM up to the 1700 but without the EQ to see how it would perform and it's the same thing. And to make matters more difficult I want to utilize the XM readiness with a mini tuner but will still have the same problem. Does anyone know how to put the mini tuner through a separate EQ? or am I just going to have to stay with my home docking set up? I E-mailed XM with this but have not had any response.
