Sennheiser wireless headphones HDR110

After years (decades) of happily using Sony audio products such as PCM-F1 analog>digital processor, DAT TCD-D10, etc., I realize that Sony quality has declined in the past few years. My Sony MDR-RF960R wireless headphones lost connectivity from 6 feet away and failed to stay on frequency. Replacing them with Sennheiser HDR110 is one of the best audio decisions I've made. Nary a problem now. I use rechargeable AAA batteries with the Sennheiser phones.

I'd love more detail about your experience with these headphones, please - I'm considering a pair.

I liked (past tense) the audio quality and the level control. Alas, since I wrote the above review, the headphones suddenly stopped working: only static. The wireless headphone no longer synchs with the transmitter. Nothing in my setup has changed. Tried tuning to the other two transmitting channels. No luck. Tried moving transmitter to middle of room. No luck.
Emailed Sennheiser tech support. Will report back if any useful advice.

Can you compare the wireless (when they worked) to any popular conventional HPs?
