Sell 2 of my surrounds for the subs?

I'm seriously considering selling 2 of my surrounds to try and raise funds for my sub projects. I'm wondering if the trade-off would be worth it.

I love these surrounds they are cute aesthetic and do a great job. But I'm on a hard DIY track. I can't imagine how long they will last. Plus you can't find them retail atm.

However I would be hard pressed to replace them.
What do you guys think?

Very good point. I think my dual JL Audio 8w6s will be sufficient for my listening volumes. Plus

My vote - keep the surrounds. As others have said already, have some patience and either save up some cash or sell something else. I'd hate to have you sell those off and then regret it later on.

The approach isberian is looking at suggests that you need to take care of bass in the 80-150/200Hz region as well. Much of what we percieve as bass takes place here.
