Hello.

I am looking for a midrange to use with my Selenium ST200 supertweeter, and I do want the tweeter crossed over at 5,000 hz as suggested earlier.

I have my eye on this one: Amazon.com: Selenium D250-X Phenolic Compression Driver: Musical Instruments

http://www.jblselenium.com/marcas/produto.php?id=106&idLinha=40

To see the manufacturer's frequency response graphs, click "Technical Specification Sheet" on the second page I linked to.

Is anyone familiar with it?

I am slowly gathering the parts to build new speakers, one by one.

Thank you for your time. :)

If you don`t mind, it would be a appreciated if you`d start one thread over at the DIY board rather than the loudspeakers board. Keep all your questions in that thread rather than start a new thread for every question pertaining to the same topic.

As for that driver, it is a compression tweeter. Compression tweeters are a bandpass device should be used in a horn, not a flat baffle.
