Seeking help in converting to wireless audio

I have an old, but still very good, Sony STR-AV900 receiver, and 2 Bose 301V speakers (purely wired, no inputs). I am interested in switching to wireless speakers. Is there a device I can plug in to my receiver to send a wireless signal to the speakers. Any recommendations on the best device to purchase for this purpose? Thanks.

You do realize that if your dream is realized, the amplifiers in the receiver will be useless, don't you?

First, you need some kind of transmitter on the receiver.

Next, you need a receiver for the speakers. One for each although there may be some stereo units out there.

Then, you need some kind of amplification to drive those speakers. Probably a stereo amp. Your receiver's amps became useless once you insert that transmitter.

Finally, keep in mind that that receiver and amplifier will need to be plugged into the wall. And, you'll need speaker wire from that amplifier to the speakers.

Sure, you can get wireless setups. But you will have to replace your speakers with powered speakers or add external amplifiers to each speaker. Generally wireless is less than popular for good reason.

True. Basically, you DO lose the wires between the receiver and the speakers but you gain power cords from the wall to the receive, wires from the receiver to the remote amps, and wires from the remote amp to the speakers.

I think you would need a wireless amplifier system, something like from Questyle Audio .

You should look for Sonos speaker systems for example. You will need an wireless receiver, Sonos playbar can do this job and work as center channel same time and add Sonos speakers/sub(s). This way you will get rid of speaker wires, but you will need power cord for each speaker still to power them.

There is no 100% wireless speaker systems available, unless you get something battery powered but I would imagine all those options are pretty poor.
