Seeking advice

New to home audio, looking for advice any input would be greatly appreciated. I'm looking for a AV RECEIVER. I've been given 1yamaha YST-SW216 SUB. 2 POLK AUDIO RTI-100. 2 POLK AUDIO R30. 1 JBL TXL center speaker. EVERYTHING is new except the JBL, will be in a 12 X 35 room. I'm looking at a Onkyo TX NR555. I want wall shaking, crystal clear sound with a lot of bass. Video is not a huge priority. Any thoughts on a receiver or speakers?

The Onkyo will work fine with that setup. The Yamaha subwoofer will not likely give you the kind of bass you are looking for, especially in a room of that size, but give it a try to see how it is. If you want a better sub, you can always replace it with something better later.
