I decided to skip the boring and last century technology of baby monitors and go to proper IP network video camera.

Specs looks alright and plenty of firmware updates and 3rd party software available I decided to give it go.

looking back, I recently heard about this site. In the essence it's direct purchase from China. Pay less for product, more for shipping and (?) for import taxes. I probably going to order next one from there.

Almost 500 cameras to choose from. Just saying and the main focus of the store is clothes.... just saying. the selection is very impressive.


So far two issues: One camera came with ancient firmware. Updating it is pretty tedious process - every update must be gone gradually - one step at the time. tl;dr; - major pain in the rear.

and second - official android apps sucks a$$. Luckily I found this gem:
