Searching For USB Video Card with HDMI

I am having trouble figuring out how to find a video adapter needed to turn my low-power mini desktop computer into a media pc. I would ideally like to find a USB video adapter that produces an HDMI signal with both audio and video streams. The closest I have found is the Aluratek AUH200f (sorry this forum will not let me post links so you will have to google it) but the review on B&H said that the video constantly lags and so it is not good for an HTPC setup (but would work for powerpoint presentations).

I find it hard to imagine that no company would make a good product like this that includes both audio and video but I don't know how to find it. I am hoping that experts here would have some experience with this type of thing.

Thanks,

David

"A friend of mine has tried a few HDMI over USB adapter and found none worked for Hi-Def movies. Lag was a problem with these.

In the end, he dropped the project and ordered a media player called the "KDLINKS HD700" from Amazon. He has not received it, but he says that after much reading it comes as one of the most recommended.

His old PC will be used as a file server, files will be played back using the KDLINKS HD700 unit.
