i use google. but i am thinking that they are censoring some of the results. as in, stearing me towards their sponsors.

so, are there any other good engines ?

thanx

I googled 'search engine list' and some guys in black Suburbans showed up.

Seriously, this is what I got:
http://www.20search.com/

This one os more complete:
http://thesearchenginelist.com/

Actually, it had 182 million links but I wasn't about to check all of them.

Google separates sponsored links from the rest of the search results.

I actually use Bing quite frequently and it works very well. Bing image search, shopping, and maps are superior to Google. Bing maps are especially impressive. They are far more acurrate and complete and provide better driving directions. I have tried them all and use Bing maps every day for work. Nothing works better.

You need a map every day to find where you work? j/k:):):)

No but in all seriousness....

You may find that your search results vary based on your location or even from day to day, even if you were to use the same search criteria.

This is because Google uses a clever search algorithm called analytics. It restructures your search results based on geography, searches done in the past from your location and a lot of other factors, this is why Google searches can be so "intuitive".

O and for an Easter egg google search recursion.
