Anyone else heard of Cast in Bronze? It's a very unique act, I saw it at the Renaissance Festival this weekend. I bought a cd and got it signed as well

There are a couple short video clips on the website in the media section. The clips are highly compressed and do not do the instrument the justice it deserves, which is a shame.

Interesting. Renfests seem to be getting further afield each year, but at least they don't stand still. At last year's Maryland Renfest, the biggest sensation was a Scottish band called Albannoch that sounded completely tribal. People were screaming and dancing around these guys while they pounded on big, loud drums. You can only take a half hour or so of this stuff but it's great for a while. For a sample -
