Satellite TV question

I'm going to put a few TV's in my fathers new house and he is going to be using ish Network. In some of the places where TV's will be, the won't be any room for a satellite reciever, so is there a way around that or would I have to figure out some way to get a reciever in there? I would prefer not to though.

You could place the reciever in another room like a closet and use an IR repeater. You would have to run cables from the receiver to the TV, obviously, but it would give you a seamless installation.

With satellite TV, you won't get a picture without a receiver.

Any other thoughts, suggestions?? I'm trying my hardest to not use IR repeaters and a whole bunch of cabling.

They have a dual-tuner DVR receiver with an RF remote for the distant set. You would just need a cable from the receiver to the second TV. I'm not sure if they have one without DVR capability, though.

You can use a splitter to run cables to other rooms, but you'll see the same program that's on the main tv (the one with the sat receiver). If you want to watch different programming, on each tv, you must have a sat receiver, on each tv. It's also an extra $5 (I think) per tv, for the programming.

Hmm... I reckon I'll just have to put a reciever in each room.

Dish does make a remote that is RF to use with their ViP211 receiver. Will work anywhere in the house. (I'm using it)
