Well, it's 12:30 pm Tuesday. We have power. Never lost it aside from a few blink outs, just enough to be annoying. However, all our communication is via Comcast (TV, internet, and phone) and that went down sometime during the night and is still down. The only way I could send this is that Rita's work gave her a 'puter and a Verizon hot-spot and even that didn't work all morning. We've been trying every hour and it just finally worked. No damage aside from a few branches down but aside from that and a helluva lot of wind and driving rain.

Read an article that said all carriers were experiencing some outages here and there. My daughter said they didn't lose power for the most part either.

some of my family members live in newjersy & when i heard about the disaster i was totally hopeless but now the things going ok & good to hear that most of the people are safe. thanks to good

Comcast internet (and everything) went out right after my last post and just came back up.

We fell back on OTA to keep up with the world (and watch "Arrow). Found out that the OTA antenna input on my Toshiba in the living room doesn't work and it's out of warranty. Bedroom tv does, though.

Hope all is well with my bruddas out there who may not have gotten off so well.
