Like title says. It's brand new and unopened, black version.

If you know MP3 players, you know this is one of the best sounding players on the market, killing everything Apple has to offer in terms of SQ. It's also the best deal per GB for my price.

I use the same one as my own player. Any questions about it, feel free to ask. I've owned enough players from Creative/Apple/Cowon/Sandisk to compare them objectively.

$75 shipped to the first taker.

Does it play AAC?

No AAC. It's possible they'll add it in a firmware release, but not likely.
The AAC codec consumes a lot of RAM, and the Clip only has 2MB.

Rockbox is working on a firmware for the Clip that would add AAC support but they're having a hard time with the memory limitation.

Vorbis and FLAC work great.

Sorry to barge in on your sale to ask a question, but do you know if the Fuze uses the same amount of RAM? I was playing a flac file (I've played a few others on it) and it kept blipping with intense passages. I assume the buffer was unable to keep up with what was coming at it. I haven't tried the same track on my clip yet because I can't find the darn thing (it's so tiny, if you know what I mean). I've played multiple flac files on the clip with no problems, I think it's a great player and it's got just about the perfect setup.

This is an excellent MP3 player for somone starting out and that does not need a lot of storage. I agree that the Clip is better overall than the equivalent iPod Nano, cheaper too. This is the best MP3 player in its class/price range (non video) IMO.

Good luck with your sale!

Yup, I love my 4gig Clip, except I've actually lost the "clip" piece on the back.

Oh the irony!:D
