oooh man

... if I want to just try them .. whats the best cheap way to do it ??
There is no cheap way to test them. You would need a receiver plus a separate power amp for the sub.
However if you connect to those speakers, you have a very good chance of destroying the receiver and amp.
That speaker system almost certainly belonged to some type of Home Theater in a Box system.
For some reason these systems frequently have very low impedance speaker systems which spell a quick death to standard AV receivers.
So before you do anything you would have to invest in a speaker testing system to see what you have. I don't know what you have and nor do you. The model number you quoted is not a Samsung number, but came out of the back of a criminal's neck.
Those type of systems are always lousy and not worth any money. They blow up soon after purchase as rule and sound awful.
To buy a testing system to measure the impedance of the speakers will cost you $100 US. A receiver a few hundred more CND and a power amp for the sub another $100 at least.
That junk you got scammed with is just not worth it.
Get that junk to the recycling center fast before you really have something to cry about.
At the moment you are only out $50 CDN which is pocket change. If you mess with those speakers you will be out more then ten fold that fast far more likely than not.
Frankly I fail to understand how you thought you could buy a surround system for $50. That should have screamed scam right away. You can't do what you want for anything close to that.
