Samsung PS-42Q Picture in Picture

I need some help activating PIP on my Samsung Plasma. The PIP option appears on the menu but is grayed out and cannot be selected. When I try the PIP button on the remote I get Option Unavailable on the screen. Anyone experienced this?

If the unit doesn't have dual tuners, you need another source with a tuner connected to it.
