Samsung PN59D8000 flickers dark black to gray black

Hi,

There is only two things I hate about this TV, it makes a buzzing sound and sometimes I notice in the dark areas the black will switch to a black gray for a second. This is more noticeable when there are the black bars on the sides or top. Is this a commom problem with this TV unit. I only had it for a week.

I have another question about the 3D palyback. I am using a Audioquest HDMI G cable from my Denon 4311 to the TV port 2. Is this cable capable of playing Blue Ray 3D because so far I watched TRON in 3D and wasn't impressed. I have read to get the full benefits of 3D you need the HDMI 1.4a cable.

I noticed my new Samsung doing the same too. I think I noticed it happening everytime the movie scene changes from dark image to lighter image. It could just be coincidence, or the TV has some built-in feature that does it. I'm so annoyed by it...I hope someone here could help us with the issue.

I would hate to return the unit back as I've spent a lot of time on aging the TV

Just to let you know the tech came out and replaced the board. I still have the same problems. This tv is highly overrated. He said this is common with these plasmas. Can't stand the buzzing either.
