SAMSUNG LNT5265 52" a good choice??

Hello everyone, my brother is going to move to his new department, he is now thinking about getting a new big tv for his nice living room, he has been looking at the SAMSUNG LNT5265 52" tv, the specifications for the tv are cool. And we have found a Sharp Aquos 52" LCD (LC52D82U) vs Samsung 52" (LNT5265) post in the avsforum. That Sharp is very good also, but the lowest price we found in the pricegrabber is $2400, and the lowest price we found for the SAMSUNG LNT5265 is $1899 with a deal. Tv is not like a shirt you can just put is aside if you don't like it, they are expensive and need to use it for a long time, so do you have any better suggestions please, just around the budget $2000??

I have that TV and it's pretty nice. I do notice motion blur every once in a while. Not a huge deal, but if your brother is a perfectionist, he might find it a bit annoying.

I would recommend taking a look at the Panasonic TH-50PZ77u plasma as well. The Mitsubishi LT-52244 would be another LCD to consider.
