First off, a warm hello to everyone reading this message...
I have a question for you TV gurus out there. I have the opportunity purchase a Samsung LN-R408D or a LN-S4041D. They are virtually the same price. The only differences that I have found so far is that the newer LN-S4041D has a faster response time (8ms vs 12ms) but does not have the cablecard like the LN-R408D. The cable card is nice but not completely necessary since I have installed some wall shelving and can get a cable box.
This TV will be mounted in my bedroom on the wall and will be primarily used for movies and late night TV.
So.. Does anyone know which one is better? I'm a bit confused on which one to buy... Also important to note is that if one has slightly better speakers that is a plus since I won't be able to buy speakers for a little while.
