Hi, has anyone already experienced the HT-DS1000 from Samsung?

I like the design and herad it at circuit city, but not in one of the test rooms. Nevertheless it sounded OK to me....
Somehow I cannot decide which system to take. I would appreciate if anyone can make any suggestions for a HTS out of the box ...
Short to what I am looking for: I hear often music and sometimes watch DVDs, but most time it is just the TV that is running, so the system does not have to do much. But of course, I want whatever possible for up to 1000 USD.
Because I have to move quite often I was also thinking about a wireless system like the Sony FR10, considering a test I have read the sound must be good and there shouldnt be any problems with the wireless connection as the full sound bandwidth is delivered. But there I would have the problem that I cannot regulate the subwoofer - see question in other thread - I do not want to trouble my neighbors with an always hammering subwoofer. The same worries with the subwoofer are bothering me with the Samsung, because the subwoofer is directed downwards, at least I can turn it down if I am just watching TV.
Also the system would be perfect if the speakers are slim or small and not big wood monsters - did I mention good looking
Any suggestions for a system up to a 1000 bucks are welcome, also any helpful comments to the systems mentioned above.
