Samsung DTS Neo 2.5

Hey Guys, might be nitpicking here but just trying to figure out my options. I watch a lot of movies on my Samsung Note 10.1 tablet, usually I'll just use the allshare feature and connect it to my Samsung HDTV, from there I use the audio out function and I'll get the video on screen and the audio through my 5.2 system. Problem is in the TV audio options I only have PCM or DTS Neo 2.5 (which I understand is proprietary to Samsung). Using DTS Neo 2.5 the receiver will then give me the option of DTS Surround, in all honesty is does sound pretty good (in comparison to DTS-HD from BluRays) but from what I understand that is a matrixed version of surround and not true 5.1 surround. Is there any way that I can configure it to get true 5.1 surround?

Assuming the receiver in question is 5.1, the only way to get true 5.1 Dolby Digital or DTS sound is from a source component that outputs a 5.1 bitstream through a digital connection like coaxial, optical or HDMI.

Thanks guys, the only issue I'm thinking of is if the tablet cannot output a bitstream or a digital audio signal. If that's the case connecting via HDMI might not solve the problem. I could always suck it up and just watch in the matrixed DTS mode, or run the movie through a laptop and hook it up to the receiver via HDMI.
