Same speakers, different sounds?

So I bought two Polk Monitor70 speakers and i sometimes feel like the left is a bit louder/better/more detailed than the right. Audyssey has them set at the same level (-9db) and distance though (the angle is the same also). Am I nuts? All wires are set up correctly as well.

I guess it could be speaker break-in, or maybe ive just been watching movies with sounds that originate from the left more often/end on the left more often. I would say maybe my right ear is worse than my left, but I usually hear better out of my right ear, so it cant be that.

What is your placement like? You might have some bad side wall reflections muddying up the sound. You might also be exciting a major room mode from one speaker, which again will not do you any help
