Sad News!

Guys, there was another fire at a local horse track here in my hometown. Unfortunately, 27 horses got killed. It really saddens me when I hear about animals dying in tragic ways like this. The scary part is this has happend before. In fact, it was not too long ago 6 or 7 horses got killed because of a fire. Looks like to me things need to be changed. For all of you animal lovers out there, it is just a sad day here. Personally, I just love horses. Here is a link for any of you interested.

That sucks really badly. I am a huge animal lover and I hate to hear of these kinds of things happening. Human error once again causes innocent animals to lose their lives.....Really sad news Phil.....

That is very sad news. I had horses growing up and really loved riding and working with them. They were always a big part of our family. We were not into racing and had Quarter Horses which are the working mans horse. You would think that if this had happened in the past that there would be better regulations for farms of that size.

I am a huge animal lover, and likewise am deeply saddened and angry to hear of something like this happening. Do they know what caused the fire specifically?

I hate to hear things like that, it had to be awful for them horses. I told my daughter about it and she is almost crying, she is a huge horse lover.

It breaks my heart to hear this story, my daughters are shocked too.
Tragic is an understatement......

Where's the fire protection, the guys owning this have some responsibility...... This would never happened if there were proper attention to fire alarms and fire protection

Yeah, it sucks. This is the 6th fire since 2003. And to that, just this past January 6 more horses got killed. It would look like to me that something could be done. How many more horses have to die before something is I beg you. Anyways, thanks guys for all of your support and concern. It is my hope that we all can offer a moment of silence for this tragic event. Thank you very much people for doing so.
