Hi I am in Australia and I am pretty confident in my choice of getting the rythmik FV15HP. SVS seems to not have the same markup as other products do though which makes me wonder whether I would be better off getting one of their products. It will be mainly be used for electronic music. The pricing is as follows:
1. Rythmik FV15HP $1750.00
2. SVS PB12 Plus $1999.00
3. SVS SB13 Ultra $1999.00

At these prices what would peoples recommendations be?

I'm not familiar with thos subs (unfortunately), but a question likely to follow is how big is your room (cubic feet or cubic meters). This would include any areas open to it. IOW, if it is your living room and there is an entryway adjacent without a door to close it off, include the volume of the entryway in your numbers.

Room is approx 13ft by 28ft and it opens up to the hallway which is about 20ft long and 3ft wide

You'll probably want to stick with a large ported sub for a room of that size. With respect to the PB12+ vs the FV15HP, the Rythmik's performance is competitive with the PB13U, and it will outperform the PB12+ (not that the PB12+ is a slouch by any means). Of course, with either, I'd verify things like warranty and what would happen if you needed service.

The SVS PB13 Ultra would be a better comparison to the Rythmik FV15HP. I'd go with one of those for that sized room.

It sounds like after shipping costs, the Rythmik is a no-brainer!

The SVS PB13 Ultra is $2500 so that makes it $750 more than the Rythmik FV15HP which makes me think its probably best to stick with the Rythmik.

None of these prices include shipping if I remember rightly but they are all national rather than international so won't be to ridiculous hopefully
