I see a few forums aboot the Rx-Z9 and I apologize for my noobie questions:
1. Upconversion from what I understand does not apply to DVD's (for copyright reasons: Questions If I connect a 5900 or 59avi (DVD Upconversion) via Ilink to the rx-z9 will it accept it as 720p/1080i and send that signal via component to my High Def Mon (which only has comp/VGA)
2. 2Channel Stereo Does not send signal to the sub(nor does pure direct) is there a way to fix this? I like my martin logans but they NEED a sub.
3. When I program the remote, I can no longer bring up the recievers menu what should I be hitting Tuner? LOL I just reset to factory so I can control the reciever again :|
Hopefully these questions weren't too noobish... the upconversion is what's really getting me... I think I need to buy a new HDMonitor to take advantage of the denon5900 or pioneer elite 59avi upconversion feature
