Hi all!

Just got my RX-V465 recently from Audioholics... VERY cool! Sounds great!

My question is this:

I have a Wii with component video, but analaog (red/white) connections for sound... Is there any way to hook this up? Can the receiver "mix" audio from one input with video from another?

My only alternative is to connect the Wii to the Plasma and run Optical down to the receiver if I want sound....

TIA!

no, but on the back there is AV1 & AV2 component and off to the right Audio 1 and audio 2 for these two video inputs... This would be the analog for these inputs... Since AV1 is optical and AV2 is Coaxial. One of the other reasons why I wanted the 565, which does up converting to HDMI from any video input... So my TV does not look like a mess of wires from my receiver.

that kinda stinks!

so, by saving a couple of hundred on the receiver, I cost myself $150 in cabling to do what I need to do...:(

Before you go dropping $150 on cables, check out Monoprice.com. You should be able to get what you need for quite a bit less than $150.

If you have any questions, let us know what you're wanting to buy, and we can look into it for you.

I've got an RX-V565 and Wii as well. I haven't done much to the 565, but my audio1/2 inputs don't map to the AV1/2 inputs. They're completely separate inputs. Am I missing a setting?
