I think I'm confused. I'll try and make this clear. After YPAO is completed and saved, I like to review the settings, ie, distance, level etc. I do this a couple of different ways, the first way is to go into each MANUAL SETTING and see the distance, volume level etc. The other way is to go into the AUTO SET UP page and click on INFORMATION and that gives me all the same parameters except they are not the "same". Here's my questions which calibrations are correct and what is the information in the INFORMATION section of auto set up any way.
Thank you in advance for your help.

call this number?

I had some ?'s concerning my Yamaha RX-V2500 and received a reply and phone number for any Yamaha questions/concerns. It is 1-800-292-2982. Don't know who they are as I have not called yet but thought it may help. Good luck.

Sounds like you either haven't saved the settings, or have done the setup more than once, so the auto has a different set of parameters than the saved configuration. I did the auto-setup, then played a CD, and wondered why it seemed lifeless - because the auto spiked the bass and treble curves to make them "flat" - zeroed it out, and BAM! Beautiful music... anyways, got real familiar with going back and forth finding how to "undo" what auto-setup had done, and the only time I saw what you did was having a stored setup, and an auto-setup that I cancelled...

Ive done the autosetup and didn't like the way it neutered the speakers - will try a re-run with it set to "Front" instead of flat...
