I can't get the Zone 2/3 red indicator to turn off on my display. Is there a way to do this?

R ruadmaa Banned Jan 22, 2005 #2 Turning off zone 2/3 If the 2400 works the same as the 1400, press the button labled amp on your remote and then the up or down select button until you see zone 2 then press the standby button, this will turn off zone 2, do the same for zone 3.

E Electone Audioholic Jan 23, 2005 #4 The 2400 does not have an "amp" button on the remote. There is a "system power" button and "standby". Flipping through the source select buttons, there is no zone2 or zone3 options. Hmmmmm......

E Electone Audioholic Jan 23, 2005 #6 The manual is not exactly user friendly, but I have figured it out. You actually have to go into "learn" mode first to be able to do this. After you do this, the Zone 2&3 selections become available on the remote and you are able to send them into stand-by mode. Thanks for the help guys.

E Electone Audioholic Jan 26, 2005 #9 You go into "learn" mode by pushing in the little button at the top with the tip of a pencil or pen. Buy selecting this mode, you are now able to toggle through the selections on the remote's little display. This is where the Zone 2 and 3 selection finally become available. Hit learn again, and now you can send the zones into standby mode.

E Electone Audioholic Jan 27, 2005 #12 It may be a different process in the 2500 than in the 2400. You might have to consult the <gulp> owners manual...
