RX-V1700 Question

I just found my Sister the last RX-V1700 out of 30 different big box retailers in Southern California (Clearanced out at $269), and I wanted to know the specific function or feature I need to address in order to get audio to pass through to her TV (Pan. TH-42pz700u) Via HDMI, Because she doesn't have her speakers yet.

the unit should pass audio no problem, but you can still run analog out also.

She got a RX-V1700 for $269... holy crap what a steal! That receiver should pass audio to the tv no problems, but you have to tell it to output the audio in the setup menu. I think its under Manual Setup, Sound Menu, HDMI Set. It should say Support Audio RX-V1700, just change it to Other and that should send the audio to the tv.

It will be in the owners manual under the advanced setup section in the sound menu.
