RX-V1500 / 2500 bi-wiring question

It's amazing what you find in product manuals, always something new, not always good, every time you read them...I just noticed an "note" item in the manual for the RX-V1500 and verified it's also in the 2500 manual regarding bi-wiring speakers.

According to the manual, the Canada models can't output to the front A & B speaker terminals at the same time. This would mean no bi-wired speakers for us poor Canadians, if I understand this correctly.

I don't need this feature now but I would be nice to have the option down the road if so desired. Has anyone actually tried this setup in Canada and is the manual correct, and if so, why on Earth would it be that way...

Having been in the tech business for many years, I have an inate distrust for product manuals. The number of errors & omissions in them tend to be legion.

You think you manual is bad. Try reading the 100 page Denon 3805 manual. Translating from Chinese to English isn't their forte. I've read it several times and still try to make sense of it. Nice set up by the way.

I know what you mean!

I have actually had a "theme party" where people brought in instructions that were translated to English from a foreign language. We had to figure out what was being said. Needless to say, after having "consumables" things got downright foolish! :D Most of us couldn't even read the stuff we were laughing so hard. We just went back to consumable mode... :D

BTW, thanks for the setup compliment...

 I get so #$%&ing mad when i here about how Canada gets screwed for release dates, product features, models that are not sold in Canada etc etc etc...We either have the most pathetic laws or Companys must think we are equivalent to some third world country that is in a remote jungle some where. It is happening now with the new Samsung 1080p models and Canadian release and availability,so it wouldn't surprise me that the manual is correct in saying not available in or to Canada.Hopeless.Its embarassing being Canadian sometimes
