RX-A2000 HDMI center channel output to a TV?

I'm watching a DVD through my RX-A2000 receiver and am not getting sound out of the TV. I'd like to use the TV itself as a center channel - can I do this?

I recently re-vamped the setup, based on the RX-A2000. My Blu-ray player is hooked up to my receiver with HDMI, and HDMI feeds this signal from the receiver to the TV (a 2011 Samsung D8000).

The receiver's surround program is "7.1 Channel", but I have set up the receiver with a 5.1 speaker configuration. When I calibrated the receiver's speakers (YPAO) the center channel originally was with a different TV set that allowed me to flip a switch on the back of the set to then allow the TV speakers to be used as a center channel.

So, now I'm trying to accomplish the same thing with the new Samsung TV. I suspect there's something I can do with the receiver settings?

I have the receiver's HDMI Control setting "on", ARC "off", too.
