Ive just recently setup my new RX-A 3000 in full 11.2 mode using a NAD C245 4 channel amp for the 4 presence speakers.
Now after a tonne of searching I couldnt actually find how the DSP is applied on the full HD audio (DTS Master / Dolby HD blu ray etc) A lot of posts said that it would not work
I was under the impression that the RX-A 3000 & above used the HD3 processing for the DSP application, but still wasnt sure what this meant.
It seems to me now from using the system that in fact the DSP is applied to the HD audio track as long as the Receiver has HD3.
I was listening to Queen live in Montreal in HD & the presence speakers were working (sounds great btw) so Im assuming this must be the case.
Does anyone else have experience with this?
