I would like to use a Displayport splitter and run HDMI from my desktop PC to three separate 60" monitors. Can I send audio and video? Would I need some sort of booster?
Is this for digital signage? Be specific about the reasons you want to do this.
To give you an idea about what HDMI can do to people who design and install systems that use it on a regular basis, someone started a thread at a forum called Remote Central titled "Dear HDMI- eat me!".
You can't just plug it into a splitter and go 150' without problems. For that matter, you wouldn't be able to send that signal 15' by using a three-way splitter.
