Running dual subs off a splitter

Will this reduce the quality of bass coming from the subs if I use a splitter off a single pre out to run both subwoofers? I currently have one Dayton SUB120 and would like to get a second one down the road.

Thanks

At one time I ran 4 subs of spliters and they worked fine. Now since I have two subs side by side I just daisy chain them and they work fine, finally.

My Ultras are daisy chained, with great results.

I think I heard you lose like 3 db by splitting vs having it in "stereo", however that could be fixed by simply turning up the sub slightly.

Remember this is coming from my terrible memory, so take what I say with a grain of salt. Other than that, no ill effect and it is common practice.
