If that Yamaha is set up the way of Yamaha receivers of the past, all you have to do is switch directly from the video input to the audio only input (i.e., you have it switched to the appropriate video input, and then you directly select the appropriate audio input), and you are good to go, as the audio only input does not switch the video away from what it was before. You will probably need to do this from the remote, as Yamaha tends to make their receivers such that you switch through different inputs on the unit itself, but directly select different inputs from the remote.
