Rotel RSX-1067 Problem

I bought this used amplifier and the volume knob does not work, you have to turn up the volume from the radio command, the sound starts at 30% of the volume and the right channel starts playing with 60% of the volume then if the volume goes down it keeps playing normally,someone please help me !!

Might be an old style volume pot that may benefit from some cleaning with Deoxit or similar? Might just try working the volume knob back and forth a lot and see if that makes a difference first.

Thats a complex CPU based product...
I would recommed that U do a Factory Reset, go into the OSD menus to Default Setup...
This will clear out any corrupted memory.

"To restore the FACTORY DEFAULT set- tings: Place the highlight on the FACTORY DEFAULT line using the UP/DOWN buttons and use the +/– buttons to change the setting to YES. Press the ENTER button to proceed with resetting the FACTORY DEFAULT settings. The unit will power off and then on, with the fac- tory settings restored. To return to the MAIN menu without resetting the FACTORY DEFAULT settings, change the entry to NO and press the ENTER button."
